Swift and Dumb Trainer
I got Swift to work with my Cyclops Fluid 2 but the numbers are way off
If I ride at 7 out of 10 perceived effort it has me doing like 40mph and 700 watts
Is this just the best it will be unless get a Wahoo?
Swift customer service has no phone numbers and they do not respond timely to e-mails

Assuming your trainer is in good working order, Cycleops Fluid2 is a supported Classic trainer and should have reasonably accurate zPower. Did you:
Doing all of the above you should get a somewhat reasonable power reading - yes it won't be as accurate as a Power Meter or Smart Trainer, but also shouldn't be completely off the charts especially at low-mid efforts on power curve.
...or unless you're the Hulk or something, then maybe 700w is accurate after all
- Tension knob, tightened to mfr. recommendations?
- ....and tire not slipping?
- 700x23 tire with mfr recommended psi? generally 100-110 psi
- Ant+ dongle close enough to your speed/cadence sensors? Sometimes you need to use a USB extension.
Doing all of the above you should get a somewhat reasonable power reading - yes it won't be as accurate as a Power Meter or Smart Trainer, but also shouldn't be completely off the charts especially at low-mid efforts on power curve.

I can't speak to the Cycleops Fluid2, but my Blackburn Mag3 is pretty close to accurate as a dumb trainer.

Change your trainer setting (just try random supported trainers) and it may be more accurate. My Minoura V270 was off the other way...showed half my speed and that sucked. I just got a Tacx Vortex...way way better.

Trainer works fine/tire not slipping although will get that message occasionally in Zwift/100psi on 700x23 tire/ant + dongle with extension near sensors which pick up immediately upon logging in

Tension knob?
3.1: Turn the knob on the resistance unit until it touches the tire. Turn the knob an additional 2.5 complete rotations so the roller presses into the tire. Wind, Mag, Magneto, and Fluid2 set up complete.
I have a similar kinetic road machine, and I do about 3-3.5 turns on mine, which seemed fairly accurate when I was still using zPower.
