I wonder if I'll ever 'have a life' again, one where I'll jump out of bed, unable to contain myself from physical activity of some sort. My mom recently told me that I was very slothful baby and, in fact, didn't move around much in the womb either.

Do you "dress right" or "dress left"?

My GF asked me that the other day. I had honestly never heard it put that way before.

I had to look that up. No idea that was a thing with suits. Guess I've never had pants tailored properly before

And here I was thinking that you were a man of the world what with buying your goats from Whole Foods and all.

I don't think I can handle the disillusionment! :(

Worse yet, I had to think about the answer.

Horrors! Equivocations like this stand the chance of sinking your very nascent relationship with this woman! You had better get a grip!

I had some friends racing over the weekend in South Carolina. Apparently the venue (Rock Hill Outdoor Center) has a dedicated crit course for bikes, in addition to a velodrome and BMX track.

You can see it under construction in that aerial image. Cool! Seems safer than your average crit around a downtown course with metal barriers, but it also looks a little tight so I'd imagine the field would get strung out fairly quickly.

She's cooking dinner for me tomorrow at her place.

I've seen it in movies.

Corned beef with a side of ethic stereotypes and cabbage?

I miss the STXC races at ye olde BMX course in Salem, OR. So much fun!

Even watching was lotsa fun - seeing guys clear the big tabletop on spindly CX rigs.

It's almost exactly the same as the Octal AVIP for road, but they added arimid fiber to the bridge to enhance its impact resistance.

Apparently, the helmet mfg thinks MTB riders hit their heads harder.

There's different kinds of MTB riding, too. Certainly you need all kinds of special equipment for downhill or redbull style stuff where you're flying off a mountain. But like I said before, there's none of that around here.

Down in PHX, on some trails you see a lot of AM bros hiking the uphills with their full face helmets on their handlebar.

Funny. We were talking about that Sunday morning when I jokingly asked her if they sell Lucky Charms in Ireland. (They do not.) Corned beef and cabbage is an Irish American thing. They eat "bacon," which is what they call ham. And no one back home eats Irish potatoes. And if you say "Top O' the Mornin' To You" people will think you are an ass. I got a good belly laugh out of that one. I also explained to her that the guy who was the original voice of Lucky the Leprechaun was from Staten Island, NY and was not of Irish descent. He passed away within the last year or so.

Having been to Ireland twice, I still don't even know how I would describe their food. I do remember having delicious mutton stew.

Never been fitted for a suit from a decent men's shop? They always ask before doing alterations.

I swear that they've never heard of seasonings in the British Isles.

I have noticed that my right leg is slightly bigger than my left, but, when riding a saddle that's too wide, it's me left thigh and knee that feel it more.
