Interviewed with a new company yesterday. I've done that occasionally for the last couple years, but I really want this job. Everything about it would be a big upgrade for me.

Fingers crossed.

In your home city?

Yep, same city. Big commercial real estate research firm is moving their corporate headquarters here. The office has spectacular views of the city. 10/10 would love to walk in there every day.

I was referring to thin skinned folk more than bad hombre folk.

I don't know, but I need to replace my rear tyre.

Heh. The one next to my building is probably swamped more than usual. I am about to go get a haircut. Will check it out.

That family has got to be filthy wealthy.

I bet they do ok. But they prolly deserve it. WaWa does what it does better than the competition. Customers are very loyal. I know several people who work for WaWa and consensus is they are also a decent employer.

Plus free coffee today!

Tap water is my usual drink of choice, and it's as close to free as anything.

Probably be cheaper to get a plane ticket and visit you.

Water was free in Ancient Rome. Now, that was a civilized society.

Sort of.

I've got pics of where the drinking water fountains were in the coliseum. Blew my mind. I knew they were advanced but had no idea that they had drinking fountains.

Scarbo 04-13-17 08:16 AM

As far as I know, the only place in the US where water is free is southern California. Or, at least, you'd think so judging by their profligate usage of the precious resource. They absolutely think water grows on trees!
