Minutiae. I realize now, that it is not the motorsports, or the photography, or the music theory, per se. I just glaze over at the minutiae. I had the same issues over in C&V, when the discussion turned to pulling vs pushing spokes, or the operation of the return spring in a specific rd.

Will wonders never cease? My phone self-scrolled to the bottom of the page. I discovered, below the 33, beyond which I'd never tread, a forum devoted to carbon wheels! One can only wonder what remains to be discovered i the outer reaches.

caught a yucky cold... I thought is was allergies after touring the blue bonnets and hay fields on Saturday, but it's not leaving.

In case any of you ever wanted to succeed in motor racing, the best tip I can give is to change your first name to Sebastian (or its various other spellings).

First race of the season in IndyCar won by Sébastien Bourdais.

First race of the season in F1 won by Sebastian Vettel.

First race of the season in World Rally Car won by Sébastien Ogier.

First race of the season in both the World Endurance Championship and Formula E won by Sébastien Buemi.

The only black mark on the name is Sébastien Loeb, who only finished 2nd in the Dakar rally. Loser.

I think I topped the list once at some point after Trsnrtr's crash last year and before the Zwifters joined up.

As of last night, the forecast was 100% chance of rain during my typical late morning ride time. The morning dog walk told me that the forecast was wrong. Now the forecast doesn't show any rain 'til the afternoon and I'm scrambling to get out because I was totally unprepared because, well, 100%. :mad:

I may never return. Massive weight gain after crash and having trouble reining it in. I'm easily 500 miles behind this time last year. Still riding, just not so far or as fast. :(
