Giant Control Tower 2
I've only used this a few times but the pump leaks air where the hose screws on to the pump and the pressure gauge goes back to 0 ...what am I doing wrong?

Sound defective. I have the same one and its a nice and cheap pump.

A little slow leak-down isn't a problem, at least when inflating Presta valves. But it can be annoying.
Have you tightened the hose? Perhaps added some pipe goop or teflon tape? Make sure there are no gaskets missing.
