I mean, you don't wanna pass up the opportunity to draft the big guys...

Before this trip I’ll have you know I was at 164 without even getting into pre-race mode, which starts the day after Thanksgiving. Same diet that has AG falling out of size 0s. And it’s not goddamn calorie-counting.

Ha, easy big fella - I was talking about frame, not spare tires.

I get tons of advice from Dr Google. People google what's been going on with their pet, then come in and give me all kinds of 'helpful' ideas. So common nowadays that it's almost a cliche, it's an everyday thing.

I've become really good at saying 'shut up and let me talk, then if you have any unanswered questions or insightful thoughts, you will get your turn when I am done.' Very nicely of course, people seem to take it well so I think I'm finessing it ok.

Mostly I think those types of people just really want to be involved in their pet's care. My style is that I give people enough info to understand the pros and cons of their options, then I make my recommendations. But all decisions are kind of mutual things, in vet med there's always considerations beyond what's best medically- quality of life, cost, logistics.

So sometimes even the people who come in with their notes and google search results and talk over me 5 times in the first 10 min of the appointment commonly start to chill out at some point during our consultation, when they start to realize that I actually am going to involve them in the decision making.

But boy it gets tedious, asking grown adults to please not interrupt me...

I never understood your side of that whole issue, that I didn't even know existed until just now, until just now.

Are there negative sizes for her, or does she have to go to kids' sizes?

Hey @WhyFi

According to the twitters here were some of your neighbors out this weekend. Were you marching?

Some of those people might benefit from a little time on the bike.:foo: JMHO

Last time I needed rosemary for a recipe I bought a live plant instead of fresh cuts and it was completely dead the next week. Hardy? Pfft.

Like when something would break Twitter and bring out the Fail Whale, back in the day.

I saw some draft lines during one of my duathlons this year and that pissed me right off.

Over my head, but nevermind. Robert will explain it to me.

Some brands have a 00, but not all. And of course different brands have different women’s sizes; the 0 with issues is a Free People skirt. She has one more size left in Lululemon, but likely won’t need it as this is probably the bottom since she’s done with the Ironman season.

What they need is a slow moving peloton holding up traffic in the street beside them.

Speaking of things we didn't know existed... welcome to the forum.

There’s a video from IMBcn this year on the IGs of peloton rolling through on the bike. Lengthy ones.

What is Fail Whale?

Apparently there is a website for everything. It’s when Twitter would break under heavy load because of some event that a lot of people suddenly tweeted about. It happens less now because they have much beefier servers.

Some of them might benefit more than others. The time on the bike might be the only time not spent stuffing their pie hole with hostess snack cakes and Diet Coke chasers.

Velo Vol 10-16-17 11:43 AM

I hardly ever see a Fail Whale now.
