Actually, you're right, it's pretty bad... except for Kirkland Pacific Bold. It's worth my wife's trip to Costco.

Yeah, can someone explain to the class how it's 7 degrees warmer in New York than in Tennessee?

Well, Kirkland is the Costco house brand.

Pacific is code for famous Seattle coffee chain, probably.

Bold is just descriptive.

I'd expect a stoner stuck in the'70s to be more creative.

Meh... Kirkland is their house brand, as they started in Kirkland, WA (by the Pacific). "Bold" is often used for coffee. It's about as worth looking into the name of as "Chiapas Mountain Dark". Coffee (and weed) are named for locations, strains, and descriptors, which results in a lot of them sounding broadly similar.

Though in the cabinet right now I have Moloka'i Estate, Buddha's Cup, Menehune, Royal Kona, and a few others I won't even pretend I can keep the spelling of straight after walking upstairs.

Pretty tasty. Not quite as good as some I had in Portland, but it really hit the spot after at least 2 years without serious ramen. I guess I didn't technically have ramen since I went with the udon option.

A warm dry winter in Texas sounds lovely.

Frankly, I don't know if I could listen to a whole game, even with good reception. I've got batteries charging for the attempt though.

How about an old-fashioned crystal radio? Remember them?? No batteries required!

Maybe I could build one.

7 kilos of roasted robusta coffee beans arrived yesterday. Should hold me through to the new year :).

Time to ride. It's typical fall weather, roughly 50A degrees out. Wardrobe plan is arm warmers, jersey, vest, thin tights over not bibs. Open finger gloves are still ok.

There is a move afoot to raise the minimum daily wage to the equivalent of five US dollars.
