I haven't noticed the drop in prices but I have been waiting for it since the Euro has been down near 1.05 or 1.10 for 2-3 years from 1.40 - 1.60 to the $. Chateauneuf du Pape? That is out my price range I think. Low end stuff is usually about $40 if I recall correctly. I have had Gigondas from northern the Rhone, I believe, and it was earthy, leathery and spicy with enough fruit for my palate back in the day. That stuff was about $20 if you found a bargain.

It is a beautiful representation of the best of the South of France. https://www.reversewinesnob.com/2013...ader-joes.html ...7 bucks, Trader Joe's https://www.reversewinesnob.com/wp-c...-de-robles.jpg Allure de Robles is a charming red wine made in a Cotes du Rhone style. Our two year old washing machine is the first we've bought in 20 years. It is completely digital, we're finding out. It's unnerving. I assume there is a motor in there somewhere, because it agitates and spins. It's all just very odd to not be able to lift the lid during the entire cycle.

...I just got the parts to fix our gas dryer in the mail yesterday. I guess I need to fix it now. :( |

I saw that posted in your thread. Didn't understand it at first as the link directs to the second page, but I think that the gist of it is that Magura is/was involved in the design/manufacture of Campy's calipers and that Magura is offering post-mount calipers (MT6 and/or MT8) that spec out to be functionally similar (possibly identical?) to Campy's flat-mount calipers. IOW, Campy levers might work happy slappy with Magura post-mount calipers as long as you've got the right connecting bits for the hydraulic hose.

I went to a Lebanese Food Festival last night, it was FREAKING AMAZING.
Our best friends in Tampa were first gen Lebanese american, and I got real used to her mom's authentic cooking. Last night was the real deal, too! One of my oldest daughter's best friends is Lebanese, and they told us about the festival. Was awesome, complete with lots of the authentic dancing. |
Does this qualify as gravel?

Ooh, I love some dryer repair. What broke? Did you blow one of the overheat sensors? Bad belt?
Upon dismantling, the belt resembled something that has been chewed by squirrels...probably the ones inside the motor that make the thing go around. Why is it that no matter how many snap ring pliers a person has, if you don't regularly work with snap rings you cannot find even one of them when you need to pull a snap ring ? Answers at 11. |

Thanks for the suggestions. We belong to Costco and there is a Trader Joe's not too far from us. Now all I need is time to do the drinkin'!

I had the same issue with a 12mm wrench this morning. As I think about it, I don't know where I would look for snapring pliers, or if I even have any at this house. It's been a long, long time since I've used them.

I was impressed how simple the drum, belt, and felt/plastic seals work when I took mine apart. While you're in there, may as well clean the lint from the motor impeller blades. It's uniquely satisfying to make an old machine work like new again. |
