Don't get me started on clothes washers, either.:notamused:

Yessir. Still trying to decide, as it looks like it may hit 22 tomorrow night, but then nowhere near freezing for the foreseeable future.

Take this opportunity to seat some tubeless tires as well.

Good idea. Perhaps I should do a Craigslist ad for a one day special.

No worries. I should have added the basement part in my rant.

Tonight I am having a cheap, subpar Italian Zinfandel (Primitivo) wine that is good as a generic red wine with decent acidity and fruit balance but completely devoid of Zinfandel characteristics. It is ok with the pizza I had and what can you expect for $6?

I miss good wine and friends to share it with. Before we came to the Atlanta area we had neighbors that we would have monthly wine nights with the whole nine yards. A wine for each course; appetizer, main course, dessert and then the "closer" wine. This was all done with music and conversation or board games. I knew I had it pretty good when it was going on and hoped it would last but those things usually don't and they didn't.:(

Hey I wish I had that too, takes time. Got an invite from a guy at work with 90+ bottles of scotch/whiskey/bourbon that does a get together booze tasting thing here n there. Man's club event, no women and children. :p

Not seeing a lot of disc carbon wheelsets out there. Is it because I'm disc? Does this carbon make me look fat?

I haven't showered and there's a good chance I won't leave the house today.

Thanks for the reminder why not to live in Colorado (despite the scenery).

Forecast low here Monday night is 67F.

I have an irrigation hose where, fortunately, the source is downhill from the destination, so before a hard freeze I'll usually just open and drain the lines at the source. The hardest part is just remembering to do it.

I live in the suburbs. It seems like every time I ride I route westward (away from downtown) that I haven't ridden in two or three months, I see new houses going up or lots being cleared. :crash:

Not everyone can see the FUTURE.

Actually I misspoke. 4 bottles is the most you ever have to buy to get free shipping. Some offerings are as cheap as 10.99, so that isn't so bad. $44 for four bottles with free shipping. And the tax thing is iffy. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. But I'm pretty sure it is never more than just state sales tax, no local. Prices are often 50% off list, plus or minus.

Mrs datlas and I just finished tag-team power washing the front stairs and entrance to our house. It's concrete and was pretty dark. Now it's light and clean now.

I did a chem wash of my wooden porch yesterday in preparation for staining. I don't mind Mrs BD didn't help, because she was busy with the much more annoying job of processing the pear harvest.

My wife and I reached an agreement this morning to continue to work so we can eventually buy a Class B touring van. Sportsmobile, Airstream, and Winnebago are using the Mercedes Sprinter 4x4. Definitely want 4x4.

I'm willing to work for it.

sbxx1985 10-08-17 09:58 AM

Can someone explain this to me, please?

I looked at Boyd wheels. Look nice but a pair of CF clinchers cost $1600+ for 44mm. More for deeper. So unless they have a sale, they are off the short list.
