Twenty five miles of easy single track is still tiring!
Rode the Incline & Marlette Flume trails today, out & back. Totally beautiful stuff. Incline Flume Trail: https://i.imgur.com/RdLhw9m.jpg |

They used large propeller driven aircraft with an extra jet engine attached to the top. It was pretty amazing flying to witness up close. |
Finished in 11:06. As ever, she wishes she were faster, but it’s her course PR on a tough day, second-fastest ever IM on a hard course, and I’m just proud as hell.

Had a good day. Went to the local heritage week event at the Art Centre. This year's theme was cycling in Christchurch.
There was an interest static display of bikes from the 1860s to 1970s, a bicycle brass band, films from the national archive with a cycling theme, valet parking for your bikes and lots of food stalls. A friend and I biked to it on some nice quiet streets and cycleways in perfect cycling weather: fine, very little wind and about 14°P. Didn't see many crabon bikes but did see lots of utility bikes and families on bikes. |

Also, buh-bye Minnesota.
It was nice to wear a sweater for a change. |
