Oh man, I hate owning land. There is no activity I despise more than maintaining the landscaping. The less the better. The townhouse suits us perfectly.

I like an electric pole saw. I think it has a 10-12" bar on it. Bonus points if you can take it off the pole for small jobs.
Stihl for life, though. |

Well, it sounds almost unanimous today that if you're employed and hanging around addiction all day you hate your job.
There are others that I'm sure don't fit that, but they have been quiet today (probably busy doing the job they enjoy). Hmmm. |

That's a problem. Every time we look at a house/condo, the first thing we do is measure the garage before anything else. One realtor now starts the showing with the garage. :)

I'm lucky. I have a very good boss. Been working for the same firm for 9 years and the same boss for 19.

Actually, I think she's still mad about the custom built trike that I ordered last January from England that hasn't been built yet. |

One in a car that's always parked on a hill on my way in. Normally the windows have black towels covering them. Today, however, I noticed the door opened as I approached. The guy in the driver's seat was shooting up herion. Lovely. Then, on the way home, going down a steep dead end, this parked BMW decides to pull a U turn in front of me. Luckily, I anticipated and was already on the brakes. As I pass, the numskull is smoking a fatty. Druggies in cars. Watch out. |

We paid our house off at 49 years of age and now (66) is the time to go to a condo and pay cash for it even before we get ours sold. Also, another possibility is that I talked to the bank that I've been with since I was 11 y.o. and they said they would give me a renewable note that would only require interest payments until ours sold. Normally, they only give notes like that for a max of 90 days but in my case, they would make it renewable as long as it took to sell our house. That's what we plan to do so I don't have to take the money out of investments.

I've heard tales of banks like that. Never encountered one myself though.

Fortunately, we were able to momentum start it on a little hill. Turns out a silly little clutch sensor/switch broke. A big hassle, but fortunately only out $20 for the car fail. |

I stopped at a gas station. Everything was working fine. When I tried to start the car all the interior electrical stuff was working but nothing happened in the engine.
