I mean, really, how long does it take to drain the dragon two or three times on a 350 mile trip? And isn't brunch at French Press in Lafayette worth a few minutes delay? Best boudin anywhere.

I used to hammer through road trips, particularly in my youth, but I feel like I'm starting to find some "smell the roses" balance. I'm not stopping for every roadside wonder, but it seems a shame to traverse swaths of land and only see the restaurant and hotel room each evening.

I'm tempted to go for some 29mm crabon action sometimes. Whenever I open another box of these at work, it's hard to say no. I still don't know what they did to make them cheaper for "Performance Exclusive".

Reynolds R Three Carbon Road Wheelset - 2018 Performance Exclusive

The R 4 is also on my list.

There will be a 20% coupon at some point.

Losing battle IMHO.

True, but it will keep me occupied well into old age. The beauty if having a piece of land to maintain.

First I've seen Factor here. Apparently Baden Cooke owns it. Someone should buy one and let us know.

The shop I use just became a dealer. I saw one in the shop, freshly assembled two days ago. That bike was hot.

I've gotta say that looks very... Canyonesque in their aesthetic.

It's been 7 or 8 years since I've handled a chainsaw. A smile came to my face when I picked it up. It' just like riding a bike.....it comes back to you. Tomorrow I'll fire it up.

Pay for my plane ticket and I’ll come down and show you how to handle that bad boy.

Jason had a bigger chainsaw.

It’s not the size of the saw but how you mis-use it. :thumb:

That knob is very unaero if you're TTing. ;)

Seriously I'm replacing my shift/brake levers on the base bar of my TT bike. The Shimano ones I have contain not just the brake levers but the Di2 shifters and the housing is bigger than is ideal for something out in the air on the front of my bike.

Just bought some Bontrager brake levers which are more streamlined/smaller & Mr H has disassembled the Di2 shifter enough to tell me he can make me a homemade shift button that's smaller and buried in the bar tape. If his homemade button is too small, we can go with commercially available sprint shift buttons.

I probably need a chainsaw.

The trees are winning here.

You know I did gain a couple pounds, right? Working on becoming one of those potbellied cyclists I have heard so much about.

So, you’re traveling and preparing to do your morning teeth brushing and you reach in to your ditty bag and you’re not wearing your glasses...

Anyone else see a problem here?
