I started to notice this as well, and also noticed that on some screens the pull-down works correctly and on others, it just disappears as I try to move my mouse down to select an item.
For me, at least, when viewing an activity, the Activity Feed pull-down works. But if I am elsewhere, like exploring a segment or viewing my list of starred/created segments, the pull-down doesn't work.
