Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ddong Ggo Serves Up Fried Chicken Fondue at a Dive Bar Named 'Butthole' | Dallas Observer

Thinking of hitting this place up. Sounds REALLY good.

Also, how can you not go to a dive called butthole?

Oh and yes, I'm wearing the best worst costume. It's Marty McFly, but so under the radar with 80's fashion suddenly being retro and cool. I even have the calculator watch. A total of one person recognized it and said anything about it.

Likely 40 pounds of candy was gone through last night. We had a steady stream until 8:50 or so, and shut the lights down at 9. The kids got some too.

After my 6th treater and nearing 7:00 PM, I told my wife that the next kid was going to make out big time since I wanted to get rid of the rest of the candy, about 2/3 of a big mixing bowl.

No one else showed.

No. We're on the corner that's like the entrance to the neighborhood, so there were a million random people parked out front last night.

I don't know if I could own a ford.

Right now I'm more of a dented-to-hell subaru kind of guy.

Second note $18 for a pitcher is not dive. We used to get $5 of domestic or $7 for fancy stuff in a dive in CT not more than a few years back. It's a funky place, but dive it is not.

Funny you say that. Because the reason I won't touch a ford with a 10' pole was an '88 taurus that my parents had when I was a kid. Might have been the worst car ever made.
