Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

She's doing great.

Tests are good and the hormone treatments don’t seem to bother her at all.

Sucks, man. Sounds like you could use an IPA.

In the “moving is stupid” department, today was a busy morning.

Pick up city garbage tote for new house.
Cancel garbage service at old house.
Sign up for city water service.
Change of address at Post Office.
Arrange for washer/dryer delivery.
Arange for cable installation.
Buy hoses, sprinklers, diverter valves and timers for sod.
Tell sod guys green side up. (Didn’t go over well)
Transfer gas and electric.
Let plumbing inspector in and listen to his bored spiel about how it should have been inspected a long time ago.
Buy pretzels for breakfast; I have salt.

Mrs datlas and I saw "Wind River" on Saturday. Good film. But made me feel cold just watching it.

"Worse" is when they say GTFO. Even worse than that is when they call the police because you're not moving fast enough or they're fed up with the arguing . . . . even though they started the arguing.

This is not the time to be *****footing around with no weak stuff. Time to go straight whiskey on the rocks, doubles, maybe triples.

Some (rare) good news: It's been two weeks since I had a loathsome hip attack. It may be that sulfasalazine is helping. Or they may simply have gone into remission. I'm never really sure about these things.

None of the color options would have worked terribly well, so I just went with P2M's brand color.
