Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Congrats on the sale, @trsnrtr

But
I'll bet that's a little bittersweet...

2nd of 5 for me in my TT, Women's Open division (ie cat 1-5). It wasn't my best TT, in fact it was my lowest power ever on the 40K version of this course. But I'm still adapting to the position, so I'm ok with it. Pretty decent time actually for such puny power.

I'm trying to tempt Mr H into taking the dogz to the beach by fixing all the stuff for a tasty dinner. So far its not working, he's asleep. The plan is grilled chicken sate with homemade banana ginger chutney and coconut basmati rice. And green beans, I think.

Speaking of basmati rice: I got this 20 pound bag of the good stuff from the Persian market for $8. So now its Adventures in Basmati Rice in our household for the near future. We had curried basmati pilaf with chicken, peas and cashews for lunch yesterday. Just ate a little bowl of leftover pilaf. Mmm good.

Maybe the huge sacks of rice have something to do with my slow TT times, lol.

My wife teared up several times the last three days or so but it didn't hit me until I signed the deed transfer where it stated the legal description and then gave the address. That's when I got a little choked up. We had the house built 38 years ago so we know every thing about it. Lots of memories...
