OK, opening myself up to ridicule here but it's not the first time.
I started using a mirror in 2003 after being forced on to a recumbent. On a bent, you can't turn around and look so it's a necessity. I tried various mirrors on the bike, on the helmet and on the shades. Eventually, I settled on the Take-a-look ones because they're all metal and not as bulky as others. I soon realized that a mirror was handy on the tandem, too.
