Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Forgive me cycling gods, for I have sinned. I haven't had a shave in a week!
Its hard to get the line to show when you're trying to take a picture of the back of your leg! There was no way I was gonna ask someone else to do it for me.

Edit: Something to contrast it to. This picture is from May 4th:

And here's me flashing a horse for no particular reason

And now, off for my ride.

It's not a team jersey, just grey with the two yellow stripes down the sides. Its made by Hind, has 4 pockets (one in the center has a zipper). It zips most of the way down in the front. It keeps me pretty cool, but then again, I've never had any other jersey before so it may be crap! Sweat soaks into it a bit, but I doubt there's any jersey that doesn't get a little wet when you're sweating buckets.

My team had to special order my jersey since they didn't preorder any larges so I gotta wait for it.

Not much to show for me, but they will get better all the time, expecially with racing a full schedule. By next spring they should look like the others (or close at least).

But my calves look interesting... my quads are coming, but they only make their appearance sometimes! After my race they sure looked huge!

Anyone tried the Assos half short? I picked up a pair of FI.Mille last weekend and have a few rides on 'em. Ultra pricey, but noticeably better than my Pearl Izumi.

But one real advantage as it pertains to this thread is the fact that these shorts are actually short -- hence, they promote a more realistic tan line, the type you might get walking around in a pair of running shorts.

check the lack of actual pics too, sheesh I was first one to actually post leg pics, so far no comments of my lack of shaving oh well, in my biz its neither expected or required, besides 8-9 months out of the year they are covered anyway, wish I had pics from a few years ago when I rode 14,000 miles in one year on a SS mtb, they were really ripped then

Not too much of a fan of Guru (no offense skydive, your bike looks hot). I want a TT bike with a scuplted seatube like my cervelo and an aero seat tube!

Yeah, right above my knee is toasted, but my lower leg isn't very tan at all. You should see the tan lines on my arms!

Haha, looks like you're really packing some heat there.
In a couple different ways. Looks like an uncomfortable position to me.

It looks like you stuffed a beer can or a flashlight down there.

If not, I'm calling you tripod for now on.

Your lucky im showing them, I usually wear pants.

(you aint seeing anything right now, They are toning but not toned! in the middle of next summer you shall see, plus I will probably be shaving)

BTW What does it take for the legs to tone? I mean other than alot of riding? or is that the key? I am going to be hitting up the gym this winter though.
