Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If you have a Kindle, download “The Five People You Meet in Wawa.” It was written by a guy from Delco based on his experiences at an un-named Wawa location in the county. Pretty funny. Pretty short and was only $0.99. Parts of Delco are like the WV of the counties surrounding Philly.

So when your heart rate won't come up.. I'm like 20 beats per low of max today , no snap in my legs. Tired right?

Sounds like it. Sick is more like HR higher than you'd expect at the same effort.

My Varia keeps reverting back to solid instead of flash. I hold button down for 2s and goes to flash mode but later somehow keeps going back to solid. This is a new issue only the past month. Anyone have a similar issue? Solution???

Is your Edge 130 controlling it? If you use the physical button but it's getting instructions via ANT+/BT, I think it'll revert to the wireless instructions.

Edit: or maybe it's one of your club mates that's piggybacking and inadvertantly controlling it?

The edge 130 is paired to it but I don’t think icontrols it. It’s odd because it only started this a few weeks ago, and nothing else has obviously changed.

Looks like a 4 hour window to ride tomorrow morning between rain storms. Fingers crossed we don’t get too wet. I am breaking out the Roubaix for the possible wet roads, I have not ridden it since last year.

One of mine has a 38, I believe.

That was Pfizer #1 for me. #2 was nothing at all.

I took the kitty to the vet yesterday in a quickly thrown together wooden box. He hated the entire trip, except when, while getting an injection, he peed a huge puddle. Difficulties in peeing was the reason for the visit. I'm now feeding him in said box, to keep the dogs out of it. He not only is happy to go in there, but also has become my shadow today.

So you just cycle through the light modes manually? I would definitely pair it up as a light and go from there. So much nicer to not have to fuss with it - hit Start on your Edge and it turns on. Turns off when you're done with your ride.

One of the guys I ride with had a light that had the button on top of it. When he hit bumps his saddle bag would come down and push the button. Switching it from bright to low to flash etc. Just thinking outside of the box.

So I weighed myself after my zwift. 229.9 lbs. That's roughly 30 lbs. Since December maybe 32. Probably more I stopped getting on the scale @ 260.

That's what I do, but once in a while have to reset the lights. Don't know why they work one day and then not the next. Just have to reset.
