Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice!

It's no Lectric Leopard, but it's still very nice.

Lots of climbing for me on my second ride, 200 ft per mile, but it was only 3.3 miles

Probably selling it on the streets. Definitely adhering to that old drug dealer adage "Don't get high on your own supply."

They didn't come up with a fake engine noise that plays through the stereo?

Do you get to choose which engine? Like 'American 7 liter V8' or 'Air cooled flat 6'?

I like my Varia to be on “flash” mode but noticed for some reason it has been reverting to “steady” even after I manually change mode by holding button on light for 1s. I poked around and figured out the mode is set on my Garmin head unit. You don’t go to “sensors” but instead “lights” setting to find it.

They actually do have a fake engine noise emitter to warn cyclists/pedestrians.

It should make a farting noise that rises and falls with your speed.

I bought the one without the light because it was cheaper and I already have a light but now I find myself having to strap that light to the seat tube so it peaks out between the chainstays on some of my bikes. If I rode 54 cm bikes, there'd be no room.

Had lunch today in Cartersville near the tracks like we did last week in another town.

If you remember, Cartersville is home to this lad:

I'm glad you resolved your issue. I know it was bothering you.

Define “good deal.”

considering the market, and scarcity of vehicles, I thought so. Close to 5% off MSRP, free delivery from Tulsa, and the highest trade quote I was able to get from about five dealers.

My son can program the passenger seat of his Tesla to make fart noises when someone sits down on it.

Got it from the Tulsa dealer. They brought it down and hauled off the trade. That's wut.

There are no cars in the Metroplex that you have to get one from 300 miles away?
