Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Training schedule

Hey everyone

I am just wondering what an effective training schedule looks like (Please only reply if you know what your talking about, or say what you want and than note that your not sure ) I know when I was lifting weights I rested every day to let my muscles heal and therefore become stronger. Right now I am biking one day, not biking the next, biking one day, not biking the next, as to maximize my recovery. Is this the route that most people go to build up strength and endurance? Or is there another way to do it.
