Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not if you are riding, "Straight-gauge". Not that there's anything wrong with that....

It may have been but not far enough for assault and battery.

I went for a colonoscopy some years ago, and the doctor's assistant during the procedure was drop-dead good looking. All I could think of was "why now?"

Certainly was battery:Although the statutes defining battery will vary by jurisdiction, a typical definition for battery is the intentional offensive or harmful touching of another person without their consent. Under this general definition, a battery offense requires all of the following:
  • intentional touching;
  • the touching must be harmful or offensive;
  • without the consent from the victim.
Assault and Battery Overview - FindLaw

Quite frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if it was all staged for attention seeking purposes.

Weird Saturn problem. I started it like normal, thought it caught but it did not. Tried starting again, cranked but no catch. Let it rest a couple minutes, same problem. Tried again a few minutes later, and it started.

I drove it to the mechanic and will ask him to look at it tomorrow, and it may have simply been some water in the fuel line, but any of the car guys have ideas??

It has never had this problem before.

That sounds like when somebody's dog attacks your dog, and they say, "He's never done that before!"

See my earlier comment - when you get a situation like you did on number three, you don't have to preserve what you know. You can pick a word that checks a lot of the missing letters, even though that word can't be the answer. As so:

The "few minutes later" almost sounds like it somehow got flooded, but that would involve more before that. Weather can't be too bad; how's the battery though?

Spot on.

Those had an issue with the coolant temp sensor reading incorrectly, thus causing the ECM to think it's colder than it really is. This will richen the mixture just like pulling a choke closed.
