Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Every new bike I have ever bought, I have crashed it within the first week of owning it, and not once was it my fault.

Last month it was my emonda, got taken out by a visitor on a group ride.

4-pack seems rather extravagant.

I'm just glad to learn tire levers in Spanish, French, Italian, and German

Never heard of them. They were $15 which is now "cheap".

A couple of questions for you gravel folk.

A. I bought a 58, but I think I am going to exchange it for a 56. On bike insights the 56 was the same size as my 58 emonda. When I test rode the 56 it felt good but looked small. The 58 felt good, however today when I sat on it, the reach felt a little much. I think if it was a road bike it would be fine but for gravel I should be a touch more upright correct? The shop was telling me to get a 56 so this was all on me, already contested them and they said I could exchange it.

B. What tire pressure should I run on gravel and what tire pressure should I run on road. They are tubeless and I believe 38mm or 40 mm i’ll have to check, always rushing at this house.

C. Tubeless? What do I need to do, what should I carry with me on a ride?

D. I think that’s everything.

Remember you'll probably lose 2 1.7 cm of Stack going to a 56, and the 58 already looks to be running 3cm of spacers.

Why not try an 80mm stem instead of the 90 it comes with?

Indoor college football is pretty nuts. The band is LOUD!

Jacks over the Griz 7-0 after the first quarter.
