I got lightly spritzed on Sand Hill between Whiskey Hill and Portola, and then a little more along Portola and 84, but it stopped before I got to Tripp, and that was all of it.

I enjoyed the first game. Aside from the fact that Baltimore has a pretty good team, I was happy the rookie QB had to eat a little humble pie at the hands of a seasoned QB who has paid his dues. It will make the rookie not just s better player, but a better person down the road.

Rained here last night, enough that I could hear it at times. This morning it was dark and cloudy but did not rain. Took the mtb and rode around the dam basin and up a canyon. Managed to avoid most of the mud and the sand is better when it's a little wet. Did 3 water crossings and there was a family hiking and I thought I might fall into the water right in front of them but I made it through without looking like a dufus.
