Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

On the Time site, it appears no issue with 28's.

Time is a Time, and I've never heard a bad word about those bikes. A Cervelo is a Cervelo, and I've never asked anyone riding one how they liked it. Within the past decade, anyway.

Last year I bought a Scylon... It turned out to be every bit as good as the Time fan-boiz said it would be (thanks, Hambini!)

If our profit sharing checks are as big as projected this year will be an ADHX or more likely an ADHX-45 so I can put 38 mm wide studded tires on it and use it as my winter commuter.

Which ever it is, it will be wearing an Ekar groupset.

P.S. Know anybody who wants to buy a Lynskey R350?

They have a good name, and a good following. The last Cervelo's I coveted were either sbxx's or Assasins, to be honest.

I like my Cervelo Aspero as a gravel bike, it’s okay as a road bike, but not really what it was designed to be.

It’s a tough decision, they’re both beautiful bikes. The thing with tire clearance is, I never really rode anything bigger than a 28 and if I do, it’s a 38-40 on gravel. One of the local events here has a lot of dirt sections and I’ve done it every year on 28s.
Every time I’ve put bigger than a 28 on, I’ve gotten rid of it. I do like having the option though.

bampilot06 look at the new 2024 colors. The gold is stunning. If I got a soloist, I’d do the gold dust color. Either bike I’d do a 1 piece bar/stem like the Deda Alanera or EXS Aerover or something similar.

Whats most interesting is that the Cervelo frame +fork is like 250 grams lighter than the time “climbing bike” not that weight matters.

All that Cannondale talk drove me to go to EBay and pick up a Cannondale jersey. Long sleeve. Used, of course. It will come down with Bob, next month. Not made in Bedford; rather Honduras.

Meh. My heart is stuck on Fusia. Should have bought the frame from a local here when I had the chance.
