That’s great, so there’s hope they’ll Darwin themselves out. 😊

Is Bah Humbug taking a planned hiatus? Perhaps he's having withdrawal pains now that the NFL is over.

TL;DR - A definite improvement, wider rims a plus, but make sure your brakes and chain stays can accommodate the wider profile.
For reference, my old wheelset I replaced are Reynolds 32 from 2013, with a narrow inside rim width.
The first thing I noticed was the much wider rim. I had to adjust the Dura-Ace brakes, and they barely have enough space to fit the new rims. But all is working well.
Also, the GP5000 25 tires measure just over 27 mm wide on the new rims. Downright chubby, and barely enough room to fit inside my Addict R1's chain stays. But all well and good.
The wider tire profile called for a reduction in pressure, so I dropped from my former 85 front/90 rear pressure to 80 front/85 rear. The ride felt solid and maybe a bit more plush; I may reduce the pressure a bit more.
They descend and corner great, feeling very solid on the pavement. The climbing felt about the same (understandable, as the weight savings are tiny, and the GP5000 tires are identical).
What about speed vs power? Well, on flat segments where I was going at least 18mph, my speedower ratio was a few percent higher, so maybe the improved aero profile of the new wheels has added some watts.
EDIT: The braking is much more powerful than with the Reynolds. More confidence.

This is a stupid question, but I’m going to ask anyway because it’s always bothered me.
WTF do the numbers on the back of a Seatpost actually mean? I’ve got a 370mm post with numbers from 10-200(clearly mm). But they don’t make any sense. The 10 marking looks to be about 100mm below the rails so I’m not sure what they actually tell me.
Any of you geniuses know?

I don’t remember ever having it this bad. I’ve had it switching doing an out and back. This was me literally trying every direction and it still hitting me.
Tomorrow I plan on riding early before the wind can start, cars have been bothering me too lately. Plan on zone 1 high cadence. If my legs feel okay I may do some 3x2 sweet spot. I’ll do it on the checkpoint make sure it’s all good to go, plan on giving it a deep clean tomorrow. Looks like the rain will be minimal so I don’t think I’ll worry about mounting the mud tires. I’ll just run the Schwalbe 40 mm
Tenperature is calling for 36 at race start with 9-15 mph winds. Character building.

In all likelihood I just came in from my last afternoon ride until November. Cold snaps in the second half of Feb are not the same as cold snaps in Dec and Jan. I had a good ride though. My down tube bottle became uncomfortably warm uncomfortably quickly. Oddly, the one on the handlebar did not.
I should have worn Da Brim, but I didn’t think of it til I was already out.
