Many years ago, ~1987, my shop begged me to buy a MTB. I was racing at the time and I wanted to concentrate on my training. FFWD to 2021 or 2 (can't remember) and I bought a MTB to ride with friends in the winter. About second ride out, I crashed and broke a rib. I sold the bike.
I later bought a gravel bike because all the cool kids were doing it. Where I live, our gravel roads are real gravel, not dirt or some kind of hard pack, but real loose and squirrely gravel. I rode it on gravel a few times and I thought. "If I fall, this is going to hurt...bad." Sold it.
One of my favorite lines is when my triathlete friends in the '80s were bugging me to do triathlons, I quipped, "I'd rather be good in one sport than mediocre in three."
I've got more stories but I'd have to start charging.

I will begin the night in my hammock and transfer to the bed when it gets too cold to stay there. The bed will keep me warm but my back and hips will suffer. Crippled in the morning either way.

Prolly training for a TT event. I have found that nothing causes me to perform at my peak watts than the treat of being pancaked.

Garmin Connect and the parameter is “Body Battery.” https://www.garmin.com/en-US/garmin-.../body-battery/
HRV seems to have the biggest coefficient in the model.

Didn't see it. If you posted such, you're targeting the wrong audience.

It’s just so unbecoming, bruh . . . and that’s to start. It’s a big mistake to assume Siu has as much patience as I do.

99.5% of my riding is road but 100% of the races or events I do are gravel.
it’s so much fun, my biggest issue is I don’t feel like riding 15 miles most days to get to it.
