Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

There is a red sox logo on a bike jersey w/world champions on it. The pan mass challenge produced them. You should be able to go to the pan-mass challenge website by googling it. I got one. I don't wear it, but I had to get one! Go Red Sox!

They claim that this is the only "professional cycling jersey sanctioned by Major League Baseball to be adorned with the new 2004 World Championship logo."
Yes, MLB owns the World Series etc. logos, so it had to be officially licensed. I have one and wear it with pride

However, the PMC has been doing Red Sox jerseys for a number of years. Couple of years ago, they did one that looked almost like a game jersey, it was pretty cool looking.

Go Sox!

No offense guys, but I don't see the point. Baseball is as exciting as warming up for a time trial. Wearing a football jersey around here would just increase the liklihood that I'd get hit by a car.

So because we like cycling, we can't like any other sport? Okay.........

I might get one of those sox ones, but jeez, so costly, and me without a job,

you're wayyy off, warming up is much more exciting than baseball, I would put baseball at the level of checking a tube for a small hole, or cleaning a chain.

Baseball is way exciting if you understand how complicated and how difficult the sport actually is. More exciting than watching a bike race I say. Even though I like that too.

Sorry. I was trying to be diplomatic. I was debating whether or not to recount what an acquaintance of mine said when offered free tickets to an Orioles game. Picture him using hands as scales. "Death... Baseball... Baseball... Death... I think I'll go with death." I used to watch. I used to care. About the time Bo Jackson retired, I lost all interest though - realized it is a game, rather than a sport. Stand David Wells next to Juan Antonio Fletcha, or Nate Newton next to Greg Lemond and point out which one is the athlete. I'd rather wear an obscure Brioches Boulangere jersey than anything from the NFL or MLB.

If one is wearing a baseball jersey turned into a bike jersey, the cyclist can't be thought a poser , can he/she? Question would be , poser for what?
Zorro..I would like to see VO2 stats for cyclists compared to other athletes, except maybe quaterbacks..

Tried searching the internet for NFL and MLB jerseys but had no luck.

Anyone else out there find anything besides the college jerseys?

I've searched everywhere with zero success. I believe the problem is their licensing agreements and there isn't enough demand to justify the cost of producing cycling jerseys.

Alright, David Stoller, are you serious? Somebody needs a good dose of "Lost" or "The Biggest Loser", no pun intended.

You could just buy a girl's jersey in small and rock that out... Geaux Saints!

Someone could try to make a custom MLB/NFL cycling jersey but if the company is somewhat reputable, they will decline the order.

So it looks like you hockey, baseball, and basketball fans are covered. No NFL teams though...sigh...still can't get that Cowboys jersey.

Yeah, the cowboy jersey would be the shizzits.

The NFL has very restrictive licensing standards. There's a lot of stuff I'd like them to cover . . . I've been looking and waiting for Cowboy checks for years.

That's why I've been wearing pro cycling jerseys because no one knows what the teams are about. So I can go and ride around in safety without some angry Steelers fan runniing me over because I have a Saints or a Seahawks jersey, or if I were to wear a hockey jersey, it'd be the Montreal Canadiens instead of the Penguins. As for baseball, I'd still rock the Pirates jersey. Even on the last game of the finals, I wore my Celtics basketball jersey around town as the Lakers came back ion the 2nd half and beat them
