the orange tires have died since this pic was shot - replaced with blackwalls.....I did score a nice seatbag in orange with yellow trim which matches the saddle perfectly......

WHY WHY WHY are orange bikes so sexy? My Le Tour needs a paint job, and I'm getting it powder-coated orange. It's just a sweet color for a bike. I live in Tennessee, and my favourite holiday is Hallowe'en, by the way.

All carbon seatstays are like that. Except on carbon monocoque frames. I believe there are some bikes with the carbon stays painted to match the rest of the bike.

I don't remember if it has been mentioned in this thread or not. I just picked up some orange electrical tape from Home Depot. So even if I don't get the orange handlebar tape, at least the part where it is finished off can be orange.

Bikes: Raptor Bicycles... Fully custom carbon bikes... just the way you want them!
I love the Kawasaki Z1000....
Mine was pearl black...got rid of all the red accents (seat, crankcase cover, emblems etc) and added a Power Commander and Muzzy exhaust. The Orange ones are hot! Kawasaki didn't release the orange ones for two weeks after they released the black ones and well, I settled for black..heh

Wow. I didn't realize the orange ones came out later - but I too ditched the ugly red accents quickly. But have seen no reason to add any feature that gives the bike more power. The things wicked-fast. I ride her bike more than my Speed Triple.
Too bad you had to sell it...

2Roadies - sweet TT bike. Did you paint that yourself? Nice - like the rear wheel.
Here's mine - single speed. Wish I'd pulled the light off for the pic. Oh well.

Jimbo: The tires are Vredestein Tricomps; bar tape is Cinelli cork. The saddle was the hardest part to find. Very few orange saddles out there besides a custom Fizik, and their website checkout has been nonfunctional all winter. I found a leftover Selle Italia Merckx at CBike thanks to a Google-cached page ... didn't know that saddle even existed, but it happened to match perfectly and it's the model I use on my other bikes: lucky!
