i have one. got one when i started running. it aint all its cracked up to be. i sent my first one back as the engraving was rubbing off??? the replacement is doing a bit better, but i see it fading a bit. personally, mine seem to have issues with persperation.

Yeah, I think I just have bad luck w/ emergency services. I had an asthma attack after a cross country race in HS, and got rerouted after I couldn't provide insurance info. Could have just been beds got full, but it did seem kinda odd.

Penicillin has an excellent chance of making me end up dead. So... as a result of that, and a trip solo to go cycling and hiking in the Appalachians, I got the RoadID. Fiancee, parents, MD numbers are on there, as are blood type and PCN allergy. Seems like a simple step to take... I do bring along drivers license and insurance card, though, for the kinds of emergencies for which one is conscious.
FWIW, I think the wrist or neck is more likely to be found than the ankle, but any of the above help.
