I carry a few bucks, ID, house key, (um, don't forget it when the wife is out ), drink powder on long rides, peanutbutter and honey sandwich (again for long rides), and a third bottle.

Heh heh ... sounds like me.

Wallet, keys, spare tube + patches. Jacket, gloves, dry hat (for under helmet if it's cold), bannana or Cliff Bar, police scanner + ear buds. It's amazing just how much you can stuff in those pockets if you HAVE to !
