Geezus....leave you blokes alone for a week or so....& we've got a new thread happening...wat gives?.....but expat's right....good to see the same old crap herein!

g'day fellas.
Another aussie, kinda new to these boards. I only just realised that there was an oz thread around as I'm more of a mtb sort of person at the moment. I started to read through the other two aussie threads to catch up and see what I'd been missing, and I'm guessing the answer to that is "not a lot", but its good to know I've got a place to come for any local goss or a safe place to take the piss out of any of the seppos and poms that seem to hide around every corner here. anyways, catch ya later |

But I think I've found the answer to your performance problems: Stop shaving and use an epillator! On my never ending quest to understand the female of the species I have invested in a Braun epillator (no, not the pink one!). Anyone who can do both legs in entirety in one sitting deserves to win every race for the rest of their life! Using one of these creations of beelzebub is like having a hundred kitten sink their claws into your legs simultaneously. And to make things worse, they aren't perfect: they don't remove all the hairs in one go! Yup, you get a second, third , and fourth go thrown in for free! Whooop! I did my legs in three sessions, and the cops turned up on each occaision because the neighbours kept complaining about the noise. I promised not to scream like a little girl toe next time. They just nodded in a "you're a freakin wierdo, buddy" kinda way as they left me to my sordid work. To rub salt into the wound (as if it were necessary) my four yo daughter laughed at my very red legs and told me that I had chicken pox. And now every time I get a chill or spine tingle my legs erupt in a spiky pain that totally freaks me out. Anyway, I've managed to do all of my legs now and they are mostly hair free for the next couple of days. Apparently the pain lessens with each subsequent session. I'll reserve judgement until I have proof. All I can say is "I can't wait to try waxing!" |

Not for any sane reason, it's just the rule. I read it somewhere way back. See you in a couple of months. |

I'll rephrase that for you to remove any confusion: "Anyway, I have managed to do both of my legs in their entirety". |

No it's not. A simple G'day or Oi would've been much more appropriate. But the person of unspecified gender has a question. So here's one back:
lamagy, what sort of riding do you want to do? Race, touring, social/coffee rides, BMX, MTB/off-road. And what area of Sydney are you from, coz there's about 25 road racing clubs in the metro area! |

hitchy Hitch Been to the gym since they've started the renos? Power rack completely gorne. Ed not happy. :( |
Continental have announced the successor to the GP3000 (drumroll + tadaaaa) the GP4000!
20% less rolling resistance More lightweight (by a MASSIVE 5 grams  ) Stronger puncture protection Higher mileage + some other marketting hype that put me to sleep. http://www.conti-tyres.co.uk/conticy...x%204000.shtml |
come in gold too !!
|
The look like the POS Specialized All Condition Pro's that came on my Roubaix. Yuk.
|
I can't stand coloured tyres myself. They make a bike look cheap and nasty, especially after they get a few miles into them. Even the grey maxxis crud I've got on at the moment look puss.
