$25,000 Colnago in Ferrari Red. Sick but cool!

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do you think whoever has had it for the past decade has ridden it either? Or do you think, maybe that it's a piece of art and will most likely end up in a museum?

My friend's Colnago BiTitan (a titanium Colnago c. 1994 or so) was the biggest piece of crap ever foisted on a big bucks bike consumer. It broke in 90 days. Looked dopey, lasted less than 6 months.

But lots of people LIKE these bikes. Hey, don't listen to me. I ride a friggin Cannondale. I'm sure all the Colnago owners hate Cdales as much as I hate Colnagos. Whatever floats your boat I suppose. To me Colnagos will always be the poster boy for foo-foo bikes.

Hmm...real dumb-looking bike ...slurp.

Cannondales are almost as generic as Treks

when my buddy and i look at cars, the first thing that comes to mind is, "Would it look good with a roof rack?"

i'd say a ferarri would look bad with a roof rack, though it would be really easy to load the bikes on and off.

Nice bike porn. How anyone could look at that bike and not drool is beyond me.
Can anyone find a droolworthy Cannondale, I kind of doubt it.

Definitely NOT a roof-rack. Perhaps a rear rack that slips into a trailer-hitch receiver would be acceptable. Like the fitted luggage, Ferrari and Colnago's gotta get their act together on this one. No one in their right mind would buy a Colnago if they can't haul it around with their Ferrari...
