I like that car too. Is that a TR4? My dad had a 1959 TR3 with the detachable windows.

My recently acquired System Six. I bought it complete, but took it down to the frame for cleaning. I'm still putting it back together.

2009 CAAD9 Tiagra no more
Finished building this up last weekend. 2009 Rival Shifters, Silver 08 for the rest. Even managed to find a OCT Silver Crank. Wheels are Cane Creek Volos Sterling Team Issue. You can probably make out the rest of the stuff. Stock weight was 20.4 (with the Shimano Pedals and Water bottle holders). Now its 17.2 pounds. Incase anyone cares the 56cm frame is 1229 grams and the fork is a porky 586 grams! A new all carbon fork, some lightweight skewers, a silver (or maybe red) seat post clamp are on my "to buy" list. I maybe want to try out a pair of Look Keo sprint or classic pedals too.
I'm liking SRAM! And I love my CAAD9, so glad I didn't sell it to buy a 2009 Bianchi 1885 frame to build up.

Looks like a mid 80's vintage based on the rear dropouts, pre detachable derailleur hanger design. I had one in white with blue lettering, stem and seat but apparently weakened by a previous fall the rear derailleur tore away from the frame while I was attempting to sprint through an intersection and make a light. Cannondale was nice enough to give me a replacement frame, an R500 Road Race model in red with white graphics quite like roccobike's. I still ride it after almost 20 years.
I like that car too. Is that a TR4? My dad had a 1959 TR3 with the detachable windows.

OK, it's an older Cannondale, a 91 to be exact not as classy as a new one. But I brought this one back from total filth to look like this.
This one was a garage queen for 15 years before I found it on CL. It's appearance was filthy, with "sissy" bars instead of drop bars. I started to build it up as a spare bike for myself when a lady I ride with asked if I had a bike for her niece.
I added the 7 speed brifters, not exotic, but easy to add to the existing 7 speed set up. The bars were a spare that I had in the parts bin and the stem came off another Cannondale. I bought the 1" steerer carbon fork for another bike but it was not a good fit. Turns out it was from another Cannondale and fit this early frame perfectly. The filth actually help preserve that paint. Most bikes look better in pics than they actually appear in person, but not this one, it looks better up close.

Bike ≠ Car ≠ Ped.
nojoka, what are you using to hold up the bike? I haven't seen little prop platforms like that..
Oh, wait, it's hanging on the wall... If it weren't for the window blinds, I would've been fooled.

jesspal: l I dropped 3.2lb (20.4 --> 17.2) but that was with switching out basically everything in addition to the groupset. Better wheels, tires and tubes, lighter post and saddle, new bars, stem. I bet sram accounted for 1.5 or so pounds of that weight.
BarracksSi: Yep good eyes the Bike holder on my wall is a "Topeak One Up Wall Mount Bike Hanger" Amazon has it for $36. Works good in my tiny San Francisco apartment.
Youngin: Thanks!

The stem and bar combo looks really good as well. I have the matte black CAAD9, i'm gonna upgrade the bars and stem soon as well. Would look at those as an option but i want to keep it all black. Maybe 3t Ergosum bars.

My newly bought 2009 Cdale!
I'm dying to ride it, so the gear is the next thing...I had to travel 30 km to get one in my size because stores in Toronto can't keep them in stock. No wonder
