You know I hate to make fun of someone I really don't know but this guy has cult bike hero writen all over him. Jerseys, coffee mugs, bumper stickers. We need to find a photo of this guy or give him a name. Somebody call the bike shop in Ohio he listed on the auction page and get his name.

The following is a email from the bike shop owner listed in the ebay auction
The bike sellers name is MONTE!! I want a t-shirt that says RIDE LIKE MONTE.
From: Greg Jackson <spinbikeshop@sbcglobal.net>

>In no way is Monte associated with our store other than we have serviced his bike a few times. He is definately "out there" and we have repeatedly left him messages asking for him to remove our name from his obviously fraudulent listing. Sorry for any inconvenience, if you could spread the word that we are not wackos too, it would be greatly appreciated.

The BF cabal successfully torpedo'd his first entrepreneurial effort, I'm not sure that we should encourage him into another venture. Although... he'd be much more harmless hawking t-shirts and coffee mugs.

This guy is a real entrepeneur! His price appears to have risen - he has $850 starting bid on one listing and $1000 starting bid on the other one.
No mention of coffee mugs or jerseys ..... YET

At least he removed all the crazy "I've ridden 100mph on this bike" stuff this time around. Aside from the "#4 out of 50" claim, his listing almost looks legit.

Let's try a different line of questioning with our erstwhile businessman:
Have you ever heard of mail fraud? Do you think that a stint in federal prison will impact your fledgling career as an eBay scammer? Do you know how many guys named Bubba are doing "hard" time at FCI Big Spring, Texas?

The second listing doesn't mention 4 of 50, so maybe it is just a run of the mill Cypress that he also happens to own.
I do like his reasonable shipping charges... Kind of makes me want to spend $1,000...
