I was going to go the leather tape route but I was afraid it would get funky fast with the humidity we have here in Miami. I'll test the cork tape for a bit ...but the brooks wrap is definitely an item I am looking at. If anyone has experience with the leather tape tell me about your impressions of it.

I've got it on my Bianchi S9 Matta - page 22 of this thread. Honey perforated to go with the Swallow saddle.
It's humid (or more accurately 'damp') here in the UK so I need to proofide the tape once every 500 miles or so, it gets lighter when it's drying out a little.
I did 5 hours in the Yorkshire Dales on Friday, not a cloud in the sky and some nice 20% climbs, the tape soaked up the sweat from my hands and stayed grippy. I've put some Fizik gel pads underneath so it's like piloting a Chesterfield chair!
It's the most difficult tape I've ever fitted though - but worth it.

nice and yes lets keep this rolling.. I need to take some new pictures since my upgrades anyway.. beautiful bike btw.. is that a swift or swallow saddle? I tried a swift but just couldnt get comfortable on it..

the saddle is a chopped B17. I bought a plain B17 and cut the sides my self. Once I broke the saddle in (around 300 miles) I dont know how I rode without it.

This is from todays 100km ride out to Black Strap/Dundurn for some Lemon Pie
I decided to use a tire bag, seeing as the last washboard road ride was causing my spare tire and inflater to vibrate and jarr loose. At one time it popped right off and was laying on the road

It's an '04 Siena. The head tube was replaced with a traditional one instead of the integrated though. Ti seatstays would be nice... but that's what it was in '04! When I have the cash I'd like to replace the fork with a nice ti one...
The downtube is only thick in profile, it's ovalized and about 1" across. I've heard they had trouble with that design though 'cause the sharp corner at the front lower of the tube was causing a "can opener" effect on the head tube.
