Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

In San Diego, it's all about Stone Brewery.

But...when it's 105 out and you just finished mowing your lawn or washing your car or whatever, there's nothing more refreshing than a Corona w/ a lime.

Good for you...seriously I applaud that decision. I am 32 so I can drink...I don't drink every day or even every week but I do have a beer from time to time. And more often lately a nice glass of Merlot...my Dr actually said that would be a good idea since I was diagnosed with Hypertension.

Those Corona jerseys scream "I am a college student who loves to get drunk". I am undecided if thats a good thing or not. Especially at my age.

"this beer tastes like piss..."

Actually, PBR says that.

Corona says "I am a college graduate who loves to get drunk".

You DO have a choice! I'm 20 and trust me...life is full of choices. On a more serious note, I like the first jersey and the red one but I am not a big fan of advertising alcoholic products. I do not know why. I am a big supporter of drinking but I like to keep my drinking hobby and my riding hobby seperate. And as far as whether or not I like corona, coming from a true mexican (me), Modelo Especial is the ONLY mexican beer.

What a deal. You pay someone 80 bucks for a shirt and they get free advertising.

And?

You pay $2000 for a bike and have the name of the bike emblazoned all over it. Exactly the same thing.

Dude! Spank me! Holy crap, Arrogant Bastard Ale is my favorite brew in the whole world, where can I get that jersey? I am *so* down for showing up in one of those instead of the same Performance HyVis shirt that everyone else in my cycle club owns.

Why is that everytime there is a thread about kits, someone always has to bring this up? Now if you don't mind, I am going to try to find that Guiness jersey mentioned earlier, pay $80, and advertise for them. My guess is that my being out there with that on, their sales will at least go up by a good .000000001%. If I really bike alot they may increase their worldwide distribution by as much as .0000000018%.

I got it from the Trek store on clearance. It's made by Canari, which is a San Diego company, and is a really high quality jersey.

Or you can check HERE or HERE

tnx for the tip on the stone brew gear. My local Middle Ages brewery is a little small to be making jerseys, maybe Ithaca brewery would make jerseys considering how many bikers there are in that college town. I dunno how well those iron-on's you print out work on polyester, but I'm planning on slapping a Dragon Stout logo on a blank jersey for when I ride my Jamis Dragon. I'll willingly advertise for them.

real men ride their fixed gears naked, with PBR shaved in their backs.

For the longest time, there was a major shortage of Shiner Bock jerseys...Now, in partnership with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, they're making them again. THIS will be my next jersey. If I had to choose one beer for the rest of my days, it'd be Shiner Bock.

/A Guiness/Bass "Black and Tan" would be my 2nd choice.
