Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I do prefer this one when I'm out in the Texas countryside alone:

Texas rednecks may not all care for spandex-wearing, leg-shaving roadies, but by and large they will not throw beer bottles at the Texian Flag.

This jersey is indeed awful, you can wear it occasionally but not if it is your only one, then it will become a tired joke.

As far as jersey colors go, black is not highly desirable. It gets very hot in summer and its visibility is really poor, so if you share the road with cars you are increasing your risk. Nashbar and others have many plain color jerseys at very good prices and they hold sales frequently. Buy a few brightly colored jerseys (yellow, red, etc) there and you'll be set for a while.

I've said it before... I want a Futurama jersey... with this printed on the front...

And this on back....

Or maybe the caption should be printed on the matching shorts.
The first picture isn't coming up for me, but I see Bender loud and clear. Great idea for a jersey.
I'd like one with Prof. Farnsworth on the front and the News Monster on the back.

I really like that jersey. I have a thing for the odd though. I wear a real tuxedo shirt to class every once in a while.
