Actually I was referring to the small spot in the picture behind the seat tube where it meets the chain stays, mine has a literal hole in the ounter weave about 2mm deep. This is probably a defect even though it seems the picture above has the same thing. I am not going to stress, unless someone thinks I should.
This is not my frame, but it appears to have the same hole right in the "crotch" of the chainstays and seat tube.

Well, now I guess everyone knows...
This is the first bike I have ever built, or torn apart as I just started riding last year.
Still, I feel pretty stupid about now...

I received mine this afternoon. Great looking frame and fork - only one problem, I ordered a 55 and they sent a 53. Thought I would see if anyone in the DFW area got a 55 when they ordered a 53. We could trade locally and save the hassle of shipping.
Another option, I have a garage full of bikes already and I would sell this 53 for cost plus shipping.

jaws, I'm in the DFW area and if you are wanting to sell the 53 you received, let me know. I received my 53 today but would like to buy another for my son. I could just drive over and pick it up!! I'm in the Mid-Cities area BTW.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I received mine. No logo. They did however send me a fork, after I upgraded to an SLX and paid the difference last month. But they forgot the seatpost clamp...go figure.

Got mine today as well. No logo but no seatpost clamp either.

Ride it like you stole it
If you didn't specifically ask for a seatpost clamp I don't think they sent you one.

Anybody know when the components will be shipped from PF? Got the frame and it's gorgeous, but pretty frustrated that other parts aren't here.

I was surprised when I unpacked mine and actually felt how light the frame was. I also never noticed the "fins" in fork until I pulled it out. Nice touch.
The thing I'm not too happy about is I specifically said no decals. I emailed them a couple of times and still, it showed up with it. BTW, the decals appear to be under the clear coat for both the frame and fork on mine.
Now to build it up...

BTW - I decided to give PBK a try. On 2/11 I ordered a pair of pedals that the had in stock, and I'm still waiting for them to get here. Test Score - F
On 2/18 I ordered a chain from an ebay-er in Japan(Rider's Paradise). I got it today. Test Score - A+

I wet sanded the headtube decal. I used a spray bottle and 220grit paper. I did about 6 passes and the logo came right off. I then cleaned it really well, taped it off and shot it with a couple coats of clear. You can't even tell there was a logo there. I put my little mojo decal on the headtube as a replacement. The fork decals got covered up with black Deda decals...

nice build. I'm thinking some Ridley decals might look "Bad-ass" on mine
