Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What are some of the best colors for hot rods? hot pink, purple metallic, midnight purple...personally i love midnight purple. Anyway, once you get out of junior high, a color is a color and nothing more. If anyone has a problem with a pink bike, just show them the kick@$$ red/brown/green roadrash and various scars you earned on the pink bike.

Thanks for asking, it occurred to me that I didn't have a decent one. So I went out and took it.

I remember around March I was drooling over this 90's Tommassini NOS frame on Ebay that was pink and chrome.
Then around June I started drooling over the Giant TCR Advanced Team with pink.
And now I really want that pink Pinni.

Everytime some guy tells me that pink is "cool", "manly" or "real men wear pink", they are usually some metro/gay bloke wearing a pink polo shirt with the collar popped or a pink tie, or some glittery jacket or some crap like that.

Pink, its a lovely shade of *****.

Well, in the day I was a 6', 215 lb, hard hitting, beer drinking, tobacco dipping, football playing, mullet waiving Texas Born-Texas Raised MuthaF**ker. Been through Iraq 2x as a combat medic. Decided to settle down, raise a family. Took up Mtn biking in the 90's, after 10 years of trails, the pounding got too much for me, decided to take up road riding. Moved out in the country, have 4 horses, 200 head of cattle. Oh yeah, after I got out of the military I went back to school and have been a trauma nurse for almost 9 years.
I like the pink King Headset, does that make me a p**sy?

If you want to be original, 7-up green is a good choice.

Yes!

Actually, I think if you're into pink, it's alright. If you ride in parts of towns where people are hostile to cyclists, wearing pink won't help....I guarantee.

I know that "gayness" is technically not a word. I think "*****exuality" is the noun you're looking for.

Terry, just pulling your leg. I think that pink color combo works great on your ti machine. I have had a white arione(with silver stripe) which I ride on with red bibs. So I now I ride a pink saddle too.

Gayness is a fine word, *****exuality is a medical term. We're talking cultural stereotypes, not conditions.

Be careful messing with pinkness, Der Kaiser is liable to hunt you down and smother you with his Craft undershirt, post work-out.
