Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, but I'm sure you paid too much and you're just field testing unverified technology.

See, think of all the work you'd have had to do to come to these harsh realizations about yourself and your equipment otherwise.

I'm not good enough for the Performance Bike Membership. Went to Performance Bike today. Bought $259 worth of crap. The guy asked me if I had a membership, I said no. He rang me up, and said "see, you would have saved $25 right there, and the membership would have paid for itself already." D'oh!

I have probably already mentioned this, but the Self Loathing Value of this thread is incalculable.

Hey Dr. P, to surgeons have Self Loathing, or would that compromise surgical safety?

Nah, I save all my self-loathing for on the bike.

I need to buy coffee. I am out of Kona blend and the only thing in the house is some hazelnut swill that my wife drinks. BTW, she adds that liquid creamer crap to her coffee on top of that, rendering it "not coffee".

Dr. Pete, since I saw your sonogram pics, I know you are soon to be a daddy and your riding days are over, so you might as well return all your cycling stuff. To save you time, i will send you my address via PM and you can send it to me and I will take care of returning it for you.
