Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone know of good Polish frames? I am planning a trip and would like to check out some good Polish frames...

Thanks in advance.

Bikes: Kestrel Talon

I lived in Warsaw for 3 1/2 years, and there weren't a lot of cyclists around (this was around 10 years ago). Of course, the riding season was less than 6 months (my oldest son was being walked in a stroller through a foot of snow less than a month after his August birthday one year), and not many people had anything resembling disposable income back then.

Haven't been back in a while - maybe things have changed.

My team sponsor is a former Polish National team member. According to him cycling is big in that country just like most European countries. There's also a Pro-Tour race each year, The Tour of Poland, that attracts some big teams and big names.

There's Kross bicycle company here - https://www.kross.pl/ and these may be interesting. I was wondering about buying one for my road bike, because there was promotion, but not for my size unfortunately. If you can't read polish, I can help you.

In Poland we use usually the same frames as in USA - Trek, Wheeler and so on. Very popular are Author Czech frames, much cheaper and not worse than other ones.

Why are you interested particularly in polish frames?

PS. Think about coming to Radom while doing a trip .

I know that fixed-gears are pretty big in Poland, there's quite a few Polish guys on FGG.

Not sure about Polish frames...
Yes FORT is Czech based but a lot of Polskis ride these.

Fixies are pretty big over there, but they're getting popular everywhere.
