Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Cervelo S5 SRAM Red -

keep in mind that they have %5 off till june 18th - which means since most orders are over 100 bucks you will actually only pay less than $5 for shipping.

update........still no response from PBK. Alison was the person I've been dealing with thru emails. She seems nice but she also screwed up my order. She has now put me into a bit of bother. Do you think she's doping?

I might have to add that to a sig line. That's up there with Doc Ray's, "Next time you are out shopping and need to use a bathroom fast, by all means use the internet." That one was classic.

What kills me is the time spent fooling around with this...multiple emails, waiting, waiting...

Oh great... I just ordered a new crank for Jess and a pair of tires from PBK. Guess I hope they show up.

Well, FWIW, my recent tire order was fine. Ordered Saturday night, arrived Thursday.

It is disconcerting to hear of all these problems, wrong stuff being sent, etc. Thankfully I've found a great shop in town.

Good to hear. I am becoming increasingly hesitant to order from them, though.

Its nowhere near London. PBK is in Kendal, Cumbria (just below Scotland).

BTW my last order, last week, turned up next day everything present and correct.
