Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looking good. I guess that the "Drope the Hammer" motif needs to be a little smaller and on the back too. You wan't people to see it from both sides. I think it would be best if the motif fits above the rear pockets and the pockets are a place for 3 logo's/motifs. Bikeforums.net can go on a rear pocket along with the Funyuns (I don't get it. Can someone explain it to me)

OK I've just had a look at the design templates at champ-sys.com and they are going to limit the short design quite a bit. The wrap panel provides the most design space but my idea of having an orange short with black around the chamois is just not on.

So one important question those who wan't bibs/shorts need to answer is are you willing to have mostly orange for the shorts or do you wan't predominantly black? There is realy limited design space for the hamers and tape measure. Have a look at this and you will see what I mean, https://champ-sys.com/files/WRAP%20PA...NG%20SHORT.pdf Only the white area's are printable. The black area's are a single colour only. Either black or orange in our case.

Black bibs for me. No need to show off the anaconda in orange!

My vote: Keep the quotes Ryanf-centric.

I'm wishy washy on a Bikeforum logo or URL (is that cool with Joe, BTW?)

My vote is for black in the nether regions of the shorts, for modesty's sake. There's enough for people to point and snicker at already.

I love the measuring tapes and 'hamer 1' and 'hamer2', forget the 'dial it up to 400 watts'. There's other RyanF quotes if we need them. What about combining these two quotes:

ULLRICH IS F'n awesome:
Jan is not a provin doper yet

you must get rid of the word "spinner." there is no such thing as spinning in Ryanf's world; & let's be real: it's Ryanf's world & we're just souls to be crushed.

Actualy you have to keep up to date. There was some talk recently that he was planning for a junior race which meant that on limited junior gearing he had to practice his spinning. Masher on one side and Spinner on the other is cool.

I fiqured most would want black panels on the shorts although this will make the design work harder to get it all to tie together nicely. It would look WAY cool with orange panels in the shorts even though I thought it would be less popular.

On the back could go the 400 watts thing. Something like "Crank it" with a dial at 400+ watts.

Well I've been banned from the team. There are allegations that I've been linked to the Krispy Kreme investigation. So no team kit for me.

That's too bad. Did they find traces of glazing in your urine?

(at risk of bumping this again)

Champ-Sys does NOT charge for additional colors. Use as many colors and as complex graphics as you want on this thing and it's all the same cost.

It should say "spiner" not "spinner" on the side panel.

Well folks, I have to bow out of this little venture. It was fun while it lasted but my schedule has tightened up quite a bit and I just don't have that many hours in the day. Besides, I've really grown weary of RyanF and his inanity.

Seriously, this jersey would be awesome (and hilarious for non-BF cyclists as well) if we, say, removed the "Team RyanF" and swapped it with say, "Bikeforums.net". Maybe put a little 'powered by RyanF' near the hem or something. That'd be nice. That's something I'd definitely buy, no joke! It's a hilarious concept, but I'd love it if it weren't so 'inside-joke', especially when it's clothing everyone would see. This way you wouldn't need to explain the joke to everyone, and it would incorporate all of our BF camaraderie and giggles into one kickass design. RyanF's quote would stay, of course, and would still be hilarious to us, yet funny to anyone who saw it and recognized the absurdity of it all.

Otherwise, great design.

I am LMAO here. I will personally buy RyanF's kit if we can get pictures of him wearing it.
