Cool, another PF groupbuy! I'm another happy RS owner. Looks like the new ZX3 is a sexed-up RS. With the RS, ADK used/stole the geometry from the Kuota Kredo (identical to the mm) and the tube shapes from the Isaac Impulse (minus Isaac's signature bulging headtube). I wonder if the new ZX3's tube shapes come from any frame out there, or if they're a new design?

Whoever did the design work on the RS was a pretty smart cookie, IMHO, as I really like mine. I didn't get the feeling that Pedalforce were bike experts, though. They buy one thing from one catalog, another form another, and put them together and hope they work right. They're more of an importer and distributor than a bike company per se. That's cool, and it's what lets them get away with such good prices, but you have to do a little legwork on your own.

Engineers at Ritchey, Trek, and Cannondale find and identify counterfeit knock-off products by subjecting products to stress testing, and then slicing them up and examining them from the insides. Millions of dollars of equipment involved.
The best "guarantee" you are getting a premium quality frame and fork is pretty easy. You go to the best Trek dealer, the best Cannondale dealer, best Specialized dealer, or the best Giant dealer in your town. You buy a frame and fork that says Trek, Cannondale, Specialized or Giant, with the lifetime warranty, backed by the factory.
They have found the fella in communist China who supplied the poisoned wheat gluten that was killing American pets. He said "This was the fault of the Americans...you want the cheapest products and you got the cheapest product".
And if you look for the cheapest frame and fork on the market, the communist Chinese have exactly what you are looking for...

BTW if I wanted a nice high end carbon bike frame I would not buy a factory pushed /made bike... Nothing wrong with them just I would rather go throw my hard earned money @ a small private bike builder or someone who can make it by hand, just my preference for spending the $$$. Builders like IF , Steelman , AEGIS ,crumpton cycles , or any other small frame builder. I’m just someone who likes supporting the little guy over big ones.
Uggg not to get ugly or anything but what you are spewing out is uncalled for on this thread

So what happens if there are more than 100 buyers at the lowest pricepoint? I am thinking of jumping in also...
...does anyone have any complete build pics of this frame?

So the question I have is, what do I need to buy from them if I am going to switch from my Airborne? Just the frame? Or is the rear dérailleur hanger needed?

i think you'd have a hard time making the 55 work.
hope that helps

So, in the group buy, we're getting the following frame from ADK:
THIS
Does anyone happen know if its the Regular Model or the SL?
Given the comments that have come back from PF, I'd bet its the SL...
I'd also bet that any of the ADK frames from BD are the Regular models, and not SL. Your thoughts or knowledge on the subject are appreciated.
