My first road bike. 06 Madone 5.2 SL. Loving it. 3 weeks old and about 200 miles. Live2bike loves it. Heading out in about an hour to put another 20 on it. Couldn't be happier.
Not even close to 55/Rad's photos, but I at least have it in the big ring.

I just finished building my new race bike, it's a '04 Specialized S-Works E5 frameset that I bought new with full Campy Centaur (Century Grey) components, Easton Vista SL wheels, Tufo C S33 Special tires, and FSA SL-K MegaEXO crankset. Rides really nice so far, a tad more aggressive geometry than my Orbea that I currently have but I should get used to it shortly. BTW, this is the first time to use Campy and so far I LOVE them! Nice accurate shifting and I love the trimming on the front derailleur. I've also decided to try the Speedplay Zeros which so far I like much better than the Time Impacts that I have on my Orbea.

Don't know the differences between chainrings. Yes, my other pics show a closeup of the
chainring, it has a biopace sticker on it.

Just got a Merlin Proteus on Ebay with Ultegra 10 speed, Easton Vista wheels, Ritchey stem, bar and post, put a superlight and comfy RavX seat on it I had on my MTB. So far it's a very sweet fast ride.
Proteus pic
Other bikes are a steel Bianchi Reparto Corse XL of uncertain vintage with sundry Campy components and a Schwinn Home Grown.

Cannondale R500 with lighter bits addes as the old ones wear out.
Falcon strada, its english its steel and it goes round corners like nothing else. Also has biopce rings, i recon hills a re a bit easier as theres less of the stop start you get when struggling up a reely steep hil (1in4 or more) as the foot spends less time in ineficient positions.

I used to ride a lot 17 years ago. Nishki Century, steel. 1st generation index shifting.
Now some guys talked me into getting started again (at 53 and more than a few pounds too heavy), it was loooooooooooog overdue. Took it off the wall 6 months ago, replaced cable housings, lubed & tuned it and went riding. I'm now up to 16 mph avg Metric Centuries and 17-19 mph 12-15 mile training rides. So I'm getting it back (somewhat)
I realized a couple of months ago that this 22 yrar old HUNK of steel needed to be upgraded. I started to search eBay for a used bike and came across BikesDirect. Couldn't believe the prices, soooooooo I was REAL hesitant about buying. Local LBS owners are SO opinionated that if you don't buy the $2000+ bike you're nothing!!
Finally found out that BD is also CycleSpectrum and they have stores in Florida. 1 1/2 hour drive, but at least I could put my hands on the Motobecanes, Merciers, & Fuji's that they advertise. They have the same price (and some less) than BD site, got to pay tax, but hey assemble and offer lifetime tune ups. They even have some on sale.
Well I got the Fuji Team for $995 (not the $1295 that's on the BD site), almost full Ultegra (Brakes and Cranks are not). This is sooooooooooooooo light compared to my old HUNK of steel.
I set it up for last weekend's in the TOSRV-South ride, Tour of Springtime Rural Vistas, in North Fl/South GA. 2 day back to back Metic's. (wasn't ready for the back to back mile Centuries).
I can't see how I could go wrong, with Ultegra, AL, Fiber Fork & Stays, for under a Grand. It rod GREAT!!!!. I think I made a wise decision!!!
