Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

LOL

Well, whatever it is, that bike looks mean, like a 650 HP Corvette. It looks like you shouldnt be riding that bike unless you have some serious power output. I couldnt ride that bike right now hahaha.

Awesome bike!

Thanks - it's a very traditional and smooth frame -- good all-rounder. It looks nicer when I have different wheels on there (i.e., LWs or Boras).

Let's see some photos of your sweet BMC!

True, but for some reason not as popular as they used to be. Their innovation has slowed down vs. some other brands it seems....

I'm sure it will look nicer, but then like a good 99% of the frames in the market will look better with lightweights or boras on! lol

Pics a few pages back.

My 595 slightly updated since first build, SLR Carbonio replaced the Flite Carbonio as the Flite was just way to hard. Also cut the steerer right down.

Very Nice! Where did you get the blue/black AC wheels? Everything I see from them is red/black themed.

My new road bike

I have recently bought a new road bike as an upgrade from my Giant Defy 1 alloy frame road bike. That bike was nice to ride but I just love my new one. My new one is a blue and white Trek Madone 4.5 WSD with full alloy frame and Bontrager race wheels. It has Shimano 105's on the front and Ultegra on the rear. It is a dream to ride and is really light, fast, responsive and corners well. I love it and I never want to get off. I have changed over the saddle to a Selle Italia and now I have Look clipless pedals. I have tried to post a picture but all that comes up is a square with a red cross in the middle, so don't know what else to do to post a pic. I'll try one last time.
