New-ish bar tape.
Note: The bike isn't actually a Kuota, rather one of the cheap frames bought of eBay with some decals (also bought of eBay) stuck on it.

It's not much different, maybe a bit shinier. That picture is without flash. With flash you can see the 12k weave of the carbon which I think is ugly. In the sun, you can see the weave up close, but any further than a meter or two, you probably wouldn't notice the weave pattern.

I'm actually a guy.
I only put Kuota decals because it's similar to a Kuota frame. Cheesy I know, but I don't like the bare carbon look (because of weaving). If the frame were painted black, then I would have it blank.
I'm still thinking about taking off the decals.

There are a few people that ride around with pink tape, some to support cancer, some to support other charities, and some simply because they like the color. Granted it would not be my first choice, but I would ask WHY the pink tape is there before jumping to the how bad it looks scenario.

I don't think anybody supports cancer.

My first road bike. Sorry, I don't have a white garage door. Maybe this weekend I'll throw it in front of my father's when I go to visit.

Lol, I use pink bar tape because the all black stealth look gets old. Plus it was a present. I guess I could use the excuse that I support the cure of breast cancer.
The frame rides very nicely. Seems like a quality frame and feels like a real, nice carbon bike.

I dig it. I'm thinking of going the cheap ebay carbon route soon.

Looks good. I like it. Yeah, I can see the all black stealth look getting old quickly. Have you had anyone notice that it's not a Kuota?? Just curious..

New updated pics of my Roubaix SL2. Went from Shimano to Campagnolo Super Record 11, Put some 3T Ergonove bars and a pair of Fulcrum Zero 2 way wheels with Hutchinson tubeless tires.
