Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why would you put Kuota decals on it if it's not a Kuota? Seems strange.

I just picked up the same frame, but with a different fork. The quality of the frame seems pretty nice. I do agree on the weave, I may look to have it painted flatblack prior to my build, murder it out.

I'm actually a guy.

I only put Kuota decals because it's similar to a Kuota frame. Cheesy I know, but I don't like the bare carbon look (because of weaving). If the frame were painted black, then I would have it blank.

I'm still thinking about taking off the decals.

The fact that it has pink bar tape doesn't help the issue.

There are a few people that ride around with pink tape, some to support cancer, some to support other charities, and some simply because they like the color. Granted it would not be my first choice, but I would ask WHY the pink tape is there before jumping to the how bad it looks scenario.

The comment wasn't because of looks, it was backing up the assumption that the poster was female.

I see that now. Lol, my bad. I have still seen quite a bit of this pink tape popping up.

Just on a less serious note....

I don't think anybody supports cancer.

My first road bike. Sorry, I don't have a white garage door. Maybe this weekend I'll throw it in front of my father's when I go to visit.

Lol, I use pink bar tape because the all black stealth look gets old. Plus it was a present. I guess I could use the excuse that I support the cure of breast cancer.

The frame rides very nicely. Seems like a quality frame and feels like a real, nice carbon bike.

I wasn't putting the pink tape down, just saying it might've thrown off people not in the know.

I dig it. I'm thinking of going the cheap ebay carbon route soon.

Looks good. I like it. Yeah, I can see the all black stealth look getting old quickly. Have you had anyone notice that it's not a Kuota?? Just curious..
