What road bike do you have?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, I have had my road bike a week now and have racked up 120 miles. I rode 5 days in a row; my shortest ride was 15 miles and the longest being 40. I am officially addicted

I LOVE MTB but the hassle of driving to/from the trail gets old. Now whenever I feel like going for a ride I can just hop on and go. No pre-planning what to take and whether or not the trail will be open/closed. Thank you everyone for helping me make the transition. I hope to continue to MTB at least once a week.

I like black & white. You could just do white tape and/or saddle. Or pick a color you like and get the tires, like these.

Just curious, but I was not aware that the Trek 1.5 was made in the US?

Also, that Giant is unbelievably sexy.

I tend to think that the lower end Giants are pretty damn ugly, but the TCR is just drop dead gorgeous.

Yeah I agree with you there, this bike I purchased as an upgrade to my defy 2 and I wasn't really a fan of the paint scheme on that. But, I love the TCR with the Rabobank scheme

doesn't look to fit you so well or else why would you have the seat pointed at the ground?

Leveling can potentially change the effective seat height depending on how he rides. That's all. I wouldn't try and fit someone blindly.

Hit up the big annual sale at the LBS today, and fell victim to the mystique of the CAAD 9-5. They're just about out of them, so it was now or never time. From the two hours test riding it, I'm pretty excited about the way it rides and handles. And yes, dork disk came off immediately after the quick photo shoot. Stem adjustments pending

Was the bike an impulse buy? Or were you looking at picking up a new one anyways?

Bike looks great, enjoy the last great CAAD!

Thanks. I really love the color scheme, the workmanship on the frame, the fit, and of course, how it rides

I'd been admiring them and stewing about their imminent demise, but I really didn't need another bike all that badly ;-). Case of impulse driven +1 disease, I guess.
