What road bike do you have?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wow, the first picture of the bike that you said the lbs took was underwhelming, this one, however, is beautiful! That makes me want a Colnago rather than a Lynskey someday!

Good looking Colnago! I always want to try out those nose diving saddles but keep worrying about the look. Yours matches with the rest of the bike well!
Is the Lightweight tubular? During normal rides do you usually carry spare tubulars?

I agreed on the saddles, then I purchased one and rode a century. I will never go back for long distance riding. Someday I will try a brooks, but in the mean time SMP has my money.

Yes, I carry a spare tubi when riding with them but I also have a few sets of clincher wheels which I use most of the time.

Picture with clincher Mavic r-sys slr's...

My Ridley helium also pictures with clincher Campagnolo Zonda wheels...(crappy cel phone pic)

It's really sunny here so sorry for the sucky photo -- but I had to take a quick shot of my new Ridley Orion. I'm going to swap out the handle bars for a better fit as soon as I settle on the right one (they're slightly wide for me) and I'm doing Celeste Blue handle bar tape to match the Speed Plays. I've put about 100 miles on it so far and am about to take it out for a quick 30-mile jaunt through the vineyards to test the new gear setup (added a "granny" gear :-( ). It's Shimano Ultegra, full carbon, Fulcrum Racing 7, brakes are FSA.

Not the lightest I tried out but it was my second favorite ride (the first was a Specialized Tarmac that was a bit out of my price range). I got such a great deal on this bike from my LBS, that I had to go with it. $2K for everything.

This replaces her VERY early (like early 90's) C-dale (which of course will be kept as it's all Campy SR)

Am I losing my mind? I swore I looked at this thread last night and there was a pic of a 2013 Allez in the bright blue. Someone even replied that it was a nice bike. I was quite taken with the look as well and wanted to view it again.......but now I can't find it!!?? Was it all a dream?
